Camelot is a student handball club from the Netherlands (Tilburg). During the winter we play indoor handball and in the summer we love to play beachhandball on foreign beaches. The beachhandball tournament in Gaeta is very special for our club, because this was the first international beachhandball tournament in which we participated.
We visited the tournament for the first time in 2004. Since that year we participated almost every year with a men and/or women team. We are always very pleased to visit Gaeta and play beachhandball because the sun is always shining (no rain), there is lots of icecream and beer, a fantastisc atmosphere and last but not least very nice people. This year we will visit Gaeta with our ladies team. We will come with a great mix of some experienced beachhandbalplayers (almost retired; Hanneke & Irès), new beachhandball players (Sanne, Femke, Elke) and it is the comeback tournament of Yvonne!! The coach of these topatletes will be Carmen, one of the best coaches in the universe. With this team we are sure we will win the worldcup in a couple of years! Be prepared! Only problem is we don't have a goalie yet, so if you're not afraid of the ball please join us!! Even if you're scared of the ball you are welcome :)We cannot wait to show our new players the beautiful beaches and surroundings of Gaeta and let them experience how beachhandball is at its best! We are really looking forward to the tournament!! See you in a couple of weeks!!
Il Camelot è un club di pallamano studentesco proveniente dai Paesi Bassi (Tilburg). Durante l'inverno si gioca pallamano indoor e in estate ci piace giocare a beach handball sulle spiagge straniere. Il torneo di beach handball a Gaeta è molto speciale per il nostro club, perché questo è stato il nostro primo torneo internazionale di beach handball a cui abbiamo partecipato. Abbiamo visitato il torneo per la prima volta nel 2004. Da quell'anno abbiamo partecipato quasi ogni anno con gli uomini e / o donne. Siamo sempre molto lieti di visitare Gaeta e giocare a beach handball perché il sole splende sempre (senza pioggia), c'è un sacco di gelato e birra, un'atmosfera fantastisca e, ultimo ma non meno importante, persone molto simpatiche.
Quest'anno visiteremo Gaeta con il nostro team femminile. Avremo la disponibilità di un grande mix di alcune giocatrici esperte (quasi in pensione; Hanneke & IRES), e le nuove leve del beach handball (Sanne, Femke, Elke) ed è il gran ritorno di Yvonne!! L'allenatore di queste top atlete sarà Carmen, una delle migliori allenatrici del mondo. Con questa squadra siamo sicure che vinceremo la Coppa del
mondo in un paio di anni! Siate pronti! L'unico problema è che non abbiamo un portiere ancora, quindi se non hai paura della palla unitevi a noi!! Anche se hai paura della palla siete le benvenute :)
Non vediamo l'ora di mostrare ai nostri nuovi giocatori le belle spiagge e dintorni di Gaeta e far loro sperimentare il beach handball nel
migliore dei modi!

Another summer is arrived and summer mean beach handball, tell us your new project!
This year we start the common work with girls, this is the fifth year like official beach handball club. Unfortunately we lost some players for this season by name: Dóra Karácsony who expecting baby, Rebeka Kozma, Kitty Bánfalvi and Henrietta Horváth stopped playing because of their jobs, and Zsófia Kiss has busy learning time. We say at above-mentioned girls a thank you for their work so far and wish them a successful for the life. Two more players has difficult position so question how many tournaments they can come with us. For mentioned reasons we had to find something out, so we had to create a new team, and we start this season with a new racing system – start speaking Dániel Kiss coach of the team.
What kind of project you started this season, you mentioned 5 players who stopped beach handball?
I didnt want to start this season from begining again, so I didn't want players who never played beach handball, because the practicing time is very short, and all competitons are really difficult. After meetings and searching players, we had only one chance to continue racing to join to an other club who has the same purpose like us.
With which team can you imagine the common work?
Like I told you before, i spoke with some teamleader from Hungary, but the last step was missed. Isn't a problem, because in time we could recognize that we had to continue the searching for the suitable partners. Finally we found a team from Slovakia, they have also just some players, but not complete team.
Two different nation club team fighting for a cause? How can we imagine this?
Yes! Both club give 5-5 players to each other, with 1-1 leader and one more player join to us. This week, we managed to agree with Martina Kemenczik, who played last year Infinity, so together we start fighting in EBT and in Hungarian competition. Our team Győri Strandkézilabda Club contracted their players to help us to play in hungarian racing, in exchange for we help to them to play in EBT , so we join this Slovakian team. One more important changing for this year: we left old teamname for EBT, and we get a new name helping with new sponsor: CANNABIS ENERGY DRINK-KANONIERKY. Our new name in Hungarian racing is: CANNABIS ENERGY DRINK-GYŐRI STRANDKÉZILABDA CLUB
If i understand well, we can meet some "old” players also?
Of course! Adriena Veisz, Anett Tóth, Vivien Szabó, Rozália Horváth, Noémi Stefanics and Gyopár Csiszár will play. New players are: Martina Ladicsova (Kanonierky), Diana Kurcinová (Kanonierky), Kristina Kupkovicová (Kanonierky), Katarina Tucnovicová (Kanonierky), Dominika Kodajova (Kanonierky) and one new player Martina Kemenczik (Infinity).
Preparing and competitions?
The preparation also changed a bit. Two times we train in one week. One time in Senec, second time in Győr.. The biggest helping to us,came from boys of Győr, we can train together, and help our preparation. Because of mixed situation, we have to take part at EBT and Hungarian championship. For this reason we have to play 3 EBT tournaments and 3 Hungarian competitions.

Intervista a Coach Dániel Kiss,quest'anno qual è il suo progetto?
Quest'anno iniziamo il lavoro comune con le ragazze, questo è il quinto anno come club ufficiale di beach handball. Purtroppo abbiamo perso alcune giocatrici per questa stagione,quali Dóra Karácsony per motivi di gravidanza,Rebeka Kozma, Kitty Bánfalvi e Henrietta Horváth hanno smesso di giocare a causa del loro lavoro, e Zsófia Kiss è occupata per motivi di studio. Noi diciamo alle ragazze sopra citate un ringraziamento per il loro lavoro svolto finora e auguriamo un successo per la vita. Altre due giocatorrici hanno situazioni diifficile in modo da mettere in discussione il numero di tornei che possono venire con noi. Per queste ragioni abbiamo dovuto trovare qualcosa, così abbiamo dovuto creare una nuova squadra, e iniziare questa stagione con un nuovo sistema di programmazione parlando con Dániel Kiss, allenatore della squadra.
Con quale tipo di quadro della situazione iniziate questa stagione?
Lei ha citato 5 giocatrici che hanno smesso di giocare a beach handball?
Non avevo intenzione di iniziare questa stagione cominciando tutto da capo,quindi non volevo giocatrici che non hanno mai giocato beach handball, perché il tempo per la pratica è molto breve, e tutte le competizioni sono davvero difficili. Dopo le riunioni e la ricerca delle giocatrici, abbiamo avuto una sola possibilità di continuare a competere,ovvero unirsi ad un altro club che avesse lo stesso nostro scopo.
Con quale squadra si può immaginare il lavoro comune?
Come ti ho detto prima, ho parlato con un po' di teamleaders dall'Ungheria, ma l'ultimo passo è mancato. Non è un problema, perché nel tempo abbiamo potuto continuare la ricerca per i partners adeguati. Finalmente abbiamo trovato una squadra dalla Slovacchia, hanno anche loro solo alcunile giocatrici, ma non una squadra completa.
Due diversi nazioni con squadra di club a combattere per una causa?
Come possiamo immaginare questo?
S ì! Entrambi i clubs hanno dato 5-5 giocatori gli uni agli altri, con 1-1 leader e un'altra giocatorrice che si è unita a noi. Questa settimana, siamo riusciti a concordare con Martina Kemenczik, che ha giocato l'anno scorso con il team Ifinity, così insieme combatteremo in EBT e nel campionato ungherese. Il nostro team Győri Strandkézilabda Club fa il contratto alle loro giocatrici per aiutarci a giocare nelle gare del campionato ungherese, in cambio noi aiutiamo loro a giocare in EBT, così ci uniamo a questa squadra slovacca. Un altro importante cambiamento per quest'anno: abbiamo lasciato il vecchio nome per EBT, e otteniamo un nuovo nome per aiutarci tramite il nuovo sponsor: CANNABIS ENERGY DRINK-KANONIERKY. Il nostro nuovo nome nella corsa ungherese è: CANNABIS ENERGY DRINK-GYŐRI STRANDKÉZILABDA CLUB.
Se ho capito bene, siamo in grado di ritrovare alcune "vecchie" giocatorrici anche?
Ovviamente! Adriena Veisz, Anett Tóth, Vivien Szabó, Rozália Horváth, Noémi Štefančič e Gyopár Csiszár giocheranno. Le nuove giocatrici sono: Martina Ladicsova (Kanonierky), Diana Kurcinová (Kanonierky), Kristina Kupkovicová (Kanonierky), Katarina Tucnovicová (Kanonierky), Dominika Kodajova (Kanonierky) e un nuovo giocatore Martina Kemenczik (Infinity).
La preparazione e le competizioni?
La preparazione anche è cambiata un po'. Ci alleniamo due volte a settimana. Una volta a Senec,la seconda volta a Győr. Il più grande aiuto lo stiamo ricevendo dai ragazzi di Győr,siamo in grado di allenarsi insieme, e aiutano la nostra preparazione. A causa della situazione mista, dobbiamo prendere parte a EBT e campionato ungherese. Per questo motivo parteciperemo a 3 tornei di EBT e 3 campionati d'Ungheria.
