The City of Gaeta Department of Sport and CUS Cassino Gaeta 1984 organize, in collaboration with the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio within the XXXV MEMORIAL CALISE, the 22nd EBT CALISE CUP stage of the European Beach Handball Championship reserved for teams of clubs.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1 – REGISTRATION AND CATEGORIES

Deadlines :
Entries must be submitted no later than Sunday 11 June 23 . Entries presented last and/or after the aforementioned date may be rejected by the organizing company;
1.3 - Categories and entries;
• SENIORS female / male
- €200 (two hundred) if enrollment takes place before 15 May 2023;
- € 250 (one hundred and fifty) if the registration takes place within 11 June 23 deadline for registration;
• YOUTH female / male
- €60: U18 (born after 2006 and younger);
- €20: U16 (born in 2008 and younger);
- Free (born 2013 and younger)
Prices are to be understood as "per team".
With the same group of players it is not possible to participate in two categories (concurrent matches will not be moved).
2 – PERFORMANCE FORMULA
2.1 - The rules of the I.H.F and the E.H.F. will be observed;
2.2 - Each participant is advised to have an identity document, in case of request from the race directors;
2.3 - The regulation and the detailed program of the event will be announced after the registrations of the teams;
2.4 - Each team will play a minimum of five matches;
2.5 - Each team must present a ball to the referees before the start of each match;
2.6 - The preliminary phase will take place from Friday 07th at 15.00 until Saturday 02nd July; the semi-finals and finals will take place on Sunday 09 in any case no later than 20.00 (morning and early afternoon);
2.7 - The Soc. Gaeta 1984 reserves the right to communicate any changes to the program and/or to reject the last registrations received by 29 June 23, in the event that accommodation availability is exceeded;
2.8 - The Organization is available to complete the program of teams wishing to extend their stay by organizing friendly HANDBALL and BEACH HANDBALL meetings.
3 – COMPETITION OFFICIALS AND REFEREES
3.1 The matches will be directed by referees from various countries, appointed by the EHF and by the Italian Association of Referees of the F.I.G.H.;
3.2 Each foreign team may propose the participation of a referee. The proposal must reach the organization by 15 May 2023 and must be accompanied by a photocopy of the referee card validated by the respective Federation in 2022/23 and an identification document. The organizers reserve the right to decline the registrations received last in case of overabundance of the same.
4 – PARTIES
4.1 - Three parties will be organized, (all to be defined with respect to the pandemic) with free admission, dedicated to all participants of the event:
- Friday 23 and Saturday 24, at "LA TERRAZZA" of the Aurora bathing establishment (barbecue?);
- Sunday 25th closing party at the Selene bathing establishment;
5 – ACCESS TO THE BEACHES
The organization offers free access to fantastic private beaches to all teams. Each team will be assigned a specific lido in which to sit, subject to availability of places in the agreement.
STAY IN GAETA
The organization, to facilitate your stay in Gaeta, offers the following solutions with the structures in agreement:
6 – ACCOMMODATION
6.1 – SCHOOL
6.1.1 - Bed: € 15.00 per night per person; each participant will be assigned a mattress and a sheet, from the night before the start of the tournament to July 1st morning;
6.1.2 - Classroom: € 300.00 per team (max 10 people). Each team will have a classroom, from the night before the start of the tournament to 06 July in the morning. Each participant must bring a cot, mattress and/or sleeping bag with them.
Any extra days, in addition to the days foreseen by the agreement, will have an additional cost of € 50.00.
6.1.3 - A deposit of 30% of the total amount due must be paid for accommodation costs. The remaining sum must be paid to Gaeta upon arrival;
6.1.4 - The teams staying in the schools will have to pay the sum of € 110.00 as a deposit upon arrival. This sum will be returned before departure only after verification of the absence of any damage;
6.2 - B&B in hotels, B&B in apartments, and Apartments;
• Double room: € 40.00 until the end of available places.
• Quadruple / quintuple room: from € 37.00 until the end of available places;
These prices are valid until exhaustion of the places assigned to the agreement (80);
Prices are intended per person per night + € 1.50 for the Municipal Tourist Tax:
All reservations made after the seats in the convention (80) have been exhausted will be subject to a surcharge depending on availability, always and in any case subject to verification of actual availability.
6.3 - Autonomous solutions
The teams that want to independently provide for the logistical accommodation will necessarily have to indicate the address of their accommodation in the appropriate registration form.
7– FOOD
7.1 - Morning breakfast (Italian) € 12.00 per person for no. 4 breakfasts (including a drink and a dessert) from the morning breakfast of June 23th to the morning breakfast of June 26th;
7.2 - Packed lunch € 8 Each packed lunch will consist of: 1 stuffed sandwich - 1 fruit - 1 bottle of water (click here).
The meal is delivered directly to the fields. Packed lunches are requested to be booked by 18:00 on the previous day, to facilitate organization in processing all requests;

8 – TRANSFERS
To reach the city of Gaeta, in addition to its own and public means, the CALISE CUP staff is available to organize transfers by private means (bus and/or car).

9 – PLEASE NOTE
9.1 - The Soc. Gaeta 1984 reserves the right to communicate any changes to the programme;
9.2 - Changes in decreases of a maximum of 5% will be allowed for the number of participants.
9.3 - Team check-in operations will be carried out no later than 10.00 pm on 30 June 22.
9.4 - It will be possible to buy the event shirt, both in advance online (€ 12) by Sunday 26 June 23 - and during the Tournament (€ 15). Team promotion: 10 t-shirts for €100 (pre-sale);
